Most of our guests are beginners, so we know how to provide an experience that’s as safe as it is fun. Our quad bikes are super easy to use – you just press and go!

And our expert guides will make sure you have all the safety instruction you need.

The Quads, are the most comfortable available and of the greatest cubic capacity, 450 cc, which provide the best relaxing ride for the entire Safari. Super easy to use you just press and go!

YOUR QUAD BIKE ADVENTURE – FROM HOTEL TO NATURE IN MINUTES

We’ll pick you up from your hotel and take you straight out of town to our nearby base camp. There you’ll get your quad and all the safety and operating instructions you’ll need. Then it's time to hit the road…and head for the mountains.

CreteSafari offers a Unique experience allowing you to feel through all your senses the natural landscape of one of the most beautiful islands in the world, Crete.

We have designed a Special Safari Route through Traditional villages, sightseeing in Natural Caves and viewing animals which are uniquely adapted to the Cretan Nature, in such a way that you would never be able to experience without a
guide.

You will have the chance to visit, Caves, traditional Villages, Monasteries, Olive oil factory, etc.

At the olive oil factory you will have the chance to do your shopping.

We will have our lunch* at a local Taverna. During the Safari we will be stopping at certain key points as described below:

Route 1

8:50 AM - 14:00 PM

Stop A: Cave, lies in a steep gorge, NE of the village that has the same name.

Stop B:  Olive Oil Factory, visit to the Olive Oil Factory where we offer a guided tour and you may do your shopping.

Stop C: Swimming & Luch, Where we offer lunch at a restaurant in front of the beach and also swim in the sea. This is the stop for a Traditional Cretan Lunch.

Route 2

14:45 AM - 18:00 PM

Stop A:  Olive Oil Factory, where we offer a guided tour and you may do your shopping.

TOUR DETAILS

We’ll pick you up from your hotel and take you straight out of town to our nearby base camp. There you’ll get your quad bike and all the safety and operating instructions you’ll need. Then its time to hit the road…and head for the mountains.

Duration:  +/- 5 hrs total with pick-up and drop-off for Route 1, +/- 3 hours total with pick-up and drop-off for Route 2.

Season: All year - The tracks up the mountain can be weather dependent.

Requirements: Car Driver's License Needed. In Case you Do not have your Car driver's license with you we can provide a certified driver for you. 3 years of age to sit behind on the ATV.

Remember: Good shoes & good mood.

Participants: No minimum to 19 maximum (20 minus the driver guide who leads the safari), 3 years of age and older.

Trip Difficulty: Easy / Family fun.

Includes: 5 Hour ATV Quad Tour Sightseeing 1st route / 3 Hour ATV Quad Tour, 2nd route.

Languages spoken: English, German, Greek.

Pickups from: Herakleion, Aghios Nikolaos, Sissi, Malia, Chersonissos, Stalida, Analipsi, Milatos, Kokkini Chani, Gouves, Elounda and in general from every hotel/AirBnb/similar which lies in a disctance of approximately 70 klm between Herakleion and Aghios Nikolaos.

Most fun day of our holiday!

It was an amazing and exciting way to view Crete in a different way. Even though myself and my friend didn’t feel comfortable driving the quad during the excursion. Colin and Mikhail came to our rescue! Shout out to them and I want to use this opportunity to thank them again. They drove us around so we could fully enjoy the excursion. Wonderful people! An awesome trip, which was perfectly arranged!

The Perfect Way to Explore the Island 💙

What a wonderful way to get out and explore the Cretan mountains, coast and countryside! Huge thank you to the Crete Safari Team— Colin, Mikhail & Aphroditi !!! I was initially hesitant to ride a quad, but I’m so glad I took the chance. With just a few minutes of instruction, and under the watchful eyes of our guides— anyone can join in and have a fun exciting time This was by far the best way to enjoy the stunning Cretan countryside, and a great way to see so much in a single day! Perfect for anyone and everyone, this tour has it all— nature, history, and stunning views. Highly recommended !

Amazing experience

We had a great time with Crete Safari! Our guide Colin was amazing! I was a bit scared to drive as it was my first time driving an ATV, but he allowed me to take over the routes that he knew I’d be comfortable driving! Aside from that, the views were spectacular! Highly recommend the tour overall!

Best quad Safari of Crete!

We had the best trip today with the quad safari! We went through cute villages and off road in the mountains! The views were spectacular! Halfway, we stopped at the olive oil factory and got a tour and olive tasting. In the end, they were so friendly to show us an old ruin which was amazin

Made Our Holiday 🇬🇷

What can we say!! This experience made our Crete holiday! It was everything we thought it would be and more! Colin, our guide, was very informative and always made sure to take photos of us at every stop. He is all about making memories and he helped us to do just that. Afroditi was a pleasure to be around and was always asking us all if we were okay and if we needed anything, to just ask. I had previously messaged her asking how many kilograms the quad bikes could take, as me and my partner are not small people. She was very polite and told me that they took up to 500kg which was fantastic! Lunch was amazing and we really enjoyed our food at the No Name Bar. A big thankyou to Crete Safari for a magical experience 🇬🇷❤️

Crete Safari - Quad Bikes - Best Day of Holiday

From being collected from our hotel to being dropped off again we had a great time. Staff put us very much at ease and provided all the information we needed to have a safe experience. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Our favourites were visits to the cave and Olive Oil factory. This is a lovely area and we saw things we would not have seen if we had not found the quad bike hire. Think we were a group of 20 in total (all languages were catered for). Colin was very knowledgable, he and colleagues could not do enough for us. Colin took photos of the group when requested (up and coming David Bailey). Lunch was included in a lovely situated restaraunt/bar called No name!!!! We would highly recommended CreteSafari. Roy and Julie (Cheshire) Would do it again.
